Breakout Sessions

  • Respect and Neighborhood Spiritual Presence

    Kevin Dellape

Establishing a spiritual presence in a neighborhood begins with learning to respect those we are trying to reach for Jesus. This session explores the keys to developing a discipline of respect that allows us to establish an effective neighborhood spiritual presence.

  • Pray for Movement

    Dr. Cory Hartman

Discover how prayer becomes the spark for life-changing disciple-making movements in your community. This hands-on workshop will equip you with specific prayer methods that fuel growth and breakthrough in the hardest-to-reach places. You'll leave with practical tools to engage God with the power that says you truly believe him. Come ready to move from casual prayer to movement-igniting prayer that changes everything.

  • Together For the City

    Dr. Richard Cox II

How do we move from Sunday gatherings to city transformation? In this breakout session, we’ll explore the Kingdom DNA Framework developed by Bob Roberts, founder of GlocalNet—built on four powerful words: Kingdom, Disciple, Society, and Church.

We begin by asking: What would our city look like if God had His way? The Kingdom of God is not just a future hope but a present mission. This session will equip participants to live as disciples empowered to influence the public square—where they live, work, and play..

When Christians from diverse congregations begin collaborating to seek the Kingdom in practical, public ways, God builds His Church in ways we could never orchestrate alone. Join us as we dream, plan, and move Together for the City.

  • Simple Steps of Obedience: Uncomplicating the Overcomplications of just BEING the Church

    Pastor Chris Garretson

In a world where ministry can easily become tangled in programs, policies, and performance, this session brings leaders back to the heart of what it means to be the Church—obedient followers of Jesus walking out simple faith in real ways. “Simple Steps of Obedience” explores how the early Church thrived through uncomplicated devotion: listening to God, loving people, and living out the Gospel in everyday life.

Together, we’ll identify how modern ministry often overcomplicates what Jesus made clear, and how to return to a culture of obedience that empowers believers to move when God speaks. Through practical examples, discussion, and biblical insight, you’ll rediscover how small steps of obedience lead to big Kingdom impact.

    Key Takeaways:

Recognize and remove unnecessary complexities in church leadership and ministry.

Recenter your leadership on obedience over outcomes.

Learn practical ways to simplify ministry without losing excellence or effectiveness.

Reignite your church’s passion for simply being the Body of Christ in action.

Come ready to be challenged, refreshed, and reminded that sometimes the most powerful move of God begins with one simple “yes.”

  • Engage Your Community

    Dr. Cory Hartman

Learn the proven steps for reaching your neighbors and crossing into new circles through acts of compassion. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to show God's love through prayer and care so that you meet the person of peace he's already prepared. You'll discover how to find the open doors for the Gospel right where you live, work, play, and serve.

  • Creating a Culture of Evangelism

    Kevin Talkensen

How do we as pastors/ministry leaders create a culture of evangelism within our churches/groups? As the examples for the flock (1 Pet 5:3), evangelism must begin with the leaders. Allowing our love for God to permeate everything we do will lead to evangelism as an overflow of the heart. Creating a culture of evangelism doesn't have a formula but we will discuss practical ways to train your church in everyday evangelism in this breakout session.

  • Foster Care & Adoption: Everyone Can Do Something

    Pastor Vince Smith

Not everyone is called to foster or adopt—but everyone can do something. Learn how your church can wrap around families impacted by foster care and adoption through partnership with Keystone Family Alliance. Discover ways to mobilize volunteers, launch Care Communities, and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children and those who care for them.

  • A Theology of Place – The Why Behind the What of the Great Commandment

    Pastor Jonathan Weibel

What if the place where your mission began was right out your front door? In this session, the goal is to help every person see that God has strategically placed them where they are so that their neighbors might reach out to Him and perhaps find Him. To move both physically and metaphorically from the obscurity of the backyard to the visibility of the front yard.

  • Ministry Patience and Neighborhood Spiritual Presence

    Kevin Dellape

We cannot successfully establish a spiritual presence in a neighborhood without patience. This session explores the keys to developing a ministry of patience that enables us to establish an enduring spiritual presence in our neighborhood.

  • Helped People, Help People

    Pastor Jackie Greene

You don’t need to be a pastor, lead a ministry, or hold a degree to change lives—you simply need a heart for the people Jesus loves.

From more than a decade of ministry experience, Pastor Jackie Greene will share how to start and sustain a Christ-centered support group in your own community. Through her ministry, Celebrate Life, she has seen God bring hope, healing, and restoration to countless lives, living out the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10.

Jackie recently authored the Pathway for Life curriculum, available on Amazon, as a tool for anyone to begin this journey with others. Drawing from her own story of brokenness and redemption, she will guide you in helping people move from struggles and sorrow into freedom and victory in Christ.

  • Disciple Making Movements in the Marketplace

    Pastor Damian Williams

Disciple Making Movements (DMM) in the Marketplace workshop will focus on practical strategies to integrate DMM principles—such as relational evangelism, simple Bible study groups, and empowering others to disciple—into your daily work environment. Through real-world and interactive exercises, discover how to foster spiritual conversations, build authentic relationships, and multiply disciples in professional settings. This session is ideal for business owners, employees, and marketplace influencers passionate about advancing God’s kingdom.

  • Junior Youth Challenge!  Reaching the most overlooked age group (11 to 15-year olds) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

    Carrie Biddle

Ministering to 11 to 15-year olds can be a challenge because they are too old for the children's ministry program and too young to be a part of the senior high youth group.  Often they are left in programs that they are bored with or they are too young for the topics being taught.  Spiritual growth often stalls or is a struggle during these ages!  Child Evangelism Fellowship saw there was a need for this age group and created the Junior Youth Challenge (JYC).  Learn how to reach the most overlooked age group in ministry with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Faith on the Clock

    Heather Manges

Making every moment at work count for the Kingdom as you shine the light of Jesus in your workday.

  • Compelling The Next Generation; Bringing unchurched youth into the Kingdom

    Dave Taylor

Every community has a generation growing up disconnected from the church. In this breakout, David Taylor will share insights gained from over 30 years of reaching at-risk and unchurched youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Learn practical strategies to engage the next generation where they are, build trust, and lead them toward a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Discover how your church can reach America’s unreached youth.

  • Loving the Nations Through ESL

    Lori Crownover

How can the church love its neighbors from other nations in practical and meaningful ways? This breakout will explore how English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry meets tangible needs while opening doors for friendship and Gospel conversations. We’ll share the “why” behind ESL ministry, practical “how-to’s” for serving internationals in your community, and the fruit we’ve seen as seeds of faith are sown through everyday relationships.

  • Each One Reach One

    Dr. Richard Cox II

What if the key to reaching a city isn't found in bigger programs but in everyday people living on mission? In this session, you'll discover how to equip every follower of Jesus to live as a Spirit-empowered missionary—right where they live, work, and play. Drawing from the early church, Scripture, and practical stories, you'll be challenged to shift from “We can do it, you can help” to “You can do it, we can help.” Learn how to mobilize your church to develop a faithful presence in the community, activate the gifts of your people, and unleash a multiplying disciple-making movement—one person at a time.

  • Known by Name: God’s Heart for Those in Addiction and Recovery

    Kary Garretson

The statistics associated with addiction and recovery are staggering. But as followers of Christ, we cannot forget that every single one of those numbers has a name. A story. A whole lifetime of circumstances that led them to where they are and a future that God has prepared for them, filled with hope and freedom.

These individuals may feel lost. Their families, friends and churches may feel like they have lost them. But God has not. He knows their names, He knows their stories and He has not forgotten them or abandoned them.

So what can we do to reach them? How can we commit to walking out these difficult roads with people in addiction and recovery? How do we help without enabling, love without reserve and actually hold on to hope in situations that appear so hopeless?

This breakout will speak to the heart of the individual lost in addiction or struggling to walk the road of recovery.

You will hear from former addicts, equipping you with knowledge and understanding of the experience of the addict and practical strategies to being a healthy support system to someone in your home, church or life that struggles with addiction or is walking the road of recovery. You will also learn how to view each individual as a human being, with endless value and worth, who is made in the image of God, and deserves dignity and respect, regardless of their choices in life.

  • Living out James 1:27

    Ron and Jill Conzo

Just as Christ reached out to those in greatest need, James calls us to go to the hard places and care for the broken. Join us as we explore James 1:27 and discover what this means for the Church today.

  • Sharing the Gospel:  No Fear & Clear

    Paul Stauffer

Two barriers that keep the message of the Gospel from going out into the world:
    1. Not sharing the message out of fear.
    2.  Lossing the simple message of the Gospel in a background of mixed messages and culture.
In this session we will discuss how to confront these issues and how to build a powerful foundation for fruitful Gospel ministry.

  • Go Reentry: Prison Ministry

    Pastor Mark Frailey

The "how" in prison ministry has changed a great deal since Jesus mentioned prison ministry in Matthew 25: 36.  The need for prison ministry however has stayed the same. People impacted by our criminal justice system need Jesus now more than ever before.  The exciting news is that in 2025 there are many more ways to impact those who are justice involved than ever before.  This workshop will address the many "needs" people who are incarcerated have. We will look at prison ministry in 2025 and talk about ways to reach those who are impacted by our criminal justice system.

  • The Three Rhythms of Front Yard Mission

    Pastor Jonathan Weibel

Front Yard Mission is built upon three rhythms. Pray First, Love All, and Invite Often. These simple practices will change the atmosphere in your neighborhood and even substantially grow your own walk with Christ.

  • Reaching the Younger Generations: Gen Z / Alpha

    Kevin Talkensen

Due to rapid technological advances, the Zoomers and upcoming Gen Alpha face unique challenges unheard of before the digital age. To many, they may seem like aliens here on earth as they have been raised by talking images on screens. How can we break through the digital space they live in to give them the authentic reality of God? We will discuss the younger generation's particular stumbling blocks and how to overcome them with the gospel.

  • Reaching Students Disinterested in Faith in Your Community Is More Than Just the Right Games and Pizza.

    Tim O’Brien

The goal for our time would be to alleviate the pressure leaders feel to plan “perfect events” for students to attend and instead learn to engage with students with no judgment, no expectations, and a desire to build meaningful, genuine friendships. We need to enhance organized meetings, not with better games or pizza, but with real connections and friendships. Reaching students is like fishing; having the right equipment, bait, and the right hat is excellent. But if we desire to catch more fish, we need to spend more time by the rivers.

  • Reaching and Helping Those Struggling with Addiction

    Dr. David Ervine

Addiction is complex, but people caught in it are never beyond hope. In this breakout session, Dr. Ervine will equip you to better understand addiction and how it affects individuals, families, and communities. You’ll learn to recognize the signs, respond wisely, and walk with those struggling toward freedom. Special attention will be given to practical ways pastors, teachers, law enforcement, medical personnel, and families can offer help, as well as tools for parents to engage their children and break destructive cycles—even after incarceration.

  • Catching the Fish that Doesn’t Want to Be Caught

    Chris Garretson

Every community has people who seem closed off to faith—skeptical of the church, uninterested in spiritual things, or even resistant to the message of Jesus. Yet the Gospel remains simple, powerful, and life-giving, with the ability to reach even those who seem “unreachable.”

This breakout will equip you with practical ways to share Christ in your everyday life and community. Together we’ll explore:

The simplicity of the Gospel—why a clear, Christ-centered message is most effective.

Building bridges instead of barriers—how listening, caring, and authentic relationships open doors.

Practical evangelism skills—simple ways to start conversations, respond to resistance with grace, and meet real needs.

The role of the Holy Spirit—how trusting God’s presence in you makes the Gospel compelling to others.

You’ll leave with fresh confidence, practical tools, and a renewed passion to engage your neighbors with love and share the Good News of Jesus—even with those who seem hardest to reach.
