About Saturate 814

Equipping Everyday Missionaries for Everyday Mission

Saturate 814 is a regional training event designed to mobilize everyday followers of Jesus to live on mission—where they live, work, and play. Whether you're just beginning to explore what it means to be on mission or you're looking to deepen your commitment to Kingdom work, Saturate 814 exists to inspire, equip, and activate believers to bring Gospel transformation to their communities.

Over the course of two dynamic days, participants will experience powerful main sessions with Pastor Joel Repic and choose from a variety of breakout sessions led by experienced leaders. These breakouts cover practical topics like neighborhood engagement, marketplace ministry, evangelism, soul care, and developing a Kingdom DNA—offering real tools for real mission.

How It All Began

Saturate 814 is the fruit of a Spirit-led movement of churches working together in unity across Central Pennsylvania.

It began in 2017, when a group of pastors in Altoona started gathering every Sunday morning to pray for awakening in their city. This humble beginning sparked a wave of unity that gave birth to the Blair County Pastors’ Network. In 2020, the churches of Altoona launched Saturate Altoona, a city-wide worship gathering held every Sunday night in June at Heritage Plaza. Over 40 churches and a Christian nonprofit joined together to proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate unity in the heart of the city.

Recognizing the need to go beyond public worship and into practical equipping, Saturate Training events were born in 2023—to train everyday people for everyday mission. In 2025, as the movement spread beyond Altoona, the event was rebranded as Saturate 814, representing the shared vision and collaboration of churches across the entire 814 area code and beyond.

Why It Matters

When Pastor Richard Cox moved to Altoona, it was with a deep burden for the 290,000 people across Central Pennsylvania who, according to the census, have no connection to a church or a relationship with Jesus. He knew that starting one more new church would not be enough. The vision was never about becoming the largest church in the region, but about re-churching the region by partnering with existing churches, equipping believers, and releasing leaders who would start new churches for those without a church.

What if we lived in a region where God was moving so powerfully in so many places that people no longer talked about individual churches—but instead marveled at what God was doing across the entire region? That question continues to shape the Saturate 814 vision today.
